This role serves as the bridge between design teams, community partners, educational institutions, investors, and residents to ensure that every eco-village reflects the highest standards of environmental stewardship, cultural relevance, and long-term resilience.

The Advocate supports planning, outreach, compliance, and implementation efforts while championing green technologies, renewable energy, climate-smart building practices, and equitable housing solutions.

1. Sustainable Design & Project Coordination

  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and design teams to support eco-village layouts, renewable energy systems, water recycling, carbon-negative materials, and regenerative agriculture concepts.

  • Assist with drafting site plans, design proposals, and documentation needed for project approvals.

  • Contribute to feasibility studies, cost assessments, and sustainability impact analyses.

  • Support the alignment of eco-village designs with environmental, cultural, and regulatory requirements across global regions.

2. Community Engagement & Advocacy

  • Serve as a knowledgeable representative of Melanin Valley’s eco-village mission during meetings, community events, university programs, and international collaborations.

  • Facilitate feedback sessions with residents, local leaders, and global partners to ensure inclusive, people-centered development.

  • Advocate for eco-friendly lifestyles, environmental justice, and sustainable wealth-building opportunities layered into village infrastructure.

3. Education, Training & Public Awareness

  • Develop educational materials, presentations, and workshops on eco-village planning, renewable energy, sustainable housing, and circular economy principles.

  • Support youth and adult training programs such as Net Energy Academy and global #FutureIsGlobal initiatives.

  • Promote awareness of eco-village benefits including carbon manufacturing, clean water access, green jobs, and STEM career pathways.

4. Research & Innovation

  • Conduct research on global best practices in sustainable architecture, permaculture, solar and carbon technologies, and climate-resilient housing.

  • Evaluate emerging materials, off-grid systems, and green technologies for potential integration into future designs.

  • Track grants, funding opportunities, and environmental policy updates relevant to eco-village development.

5. Operational & Administrative Support

  • Assist with preparing proposals, MOUs, partnership packets, and investor materials.

  • Help maintain project timelines, reports, and design documentation for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Melanin Valley, Eco-Friendly Fundraiser, and international partner universities.
